A Stronger, More Powerful Medicity
As you read this, our development team is huddled in a dark room, putting the final spit and polish on the latest Medicity communication network available July 3rd. Along with useful new features and improved functionality, you’ll notice a spanking new interface with a bold purple theme. So, if you haven’t logged in for awhile, now’s the opportunity to see what Medicity is doing to help you build and empower your local healthcare communities.

The New Medicity

As soon as you log in you will notice that our new interface is sleeker, refined and easier to use.
Click on our logo to go to Medicity’s informational site. Here you can learn more about Medicity Inc.; our mission, events, and news.
Click on the log in button to get to your personalized page where you can begin your work.
A new email indicator has been added to the homepage to alert you to new messages in your inbox.
News is now divided into Medical and General sections. Our relationship with MSNBC gives you access the latest news, updated several times per day.
Simply select the +/- signs to open or close any section of the homepage to keep only the most important information in focus.
Power Hint—You can go home again. To get back to the homepage, under the community menu, click on the word home.

Affiliate Posting
Medicity members can now use the site to post messages to their affiliates including professional colleagues and associations, payors, community organizations, and other groups or individuals with whom you are associated. To find out more information, contact customer support at 1.888.830.1022.

New and improved messaging
Based on your feedback, Medicity has upgraded our email system. You will find our new look, which is intuitive and includes better options. Now you can spell check your messages, save draft copies, create new folders and sort on column headings such as date, subject, or author.

Other messaging features include:

Spell check, including the ability to add custom words to your dictionary.
Get Mail tab for immediate mail check.
Compose features, allowing you to improve email confirmation that your message has been read and/or delivered, priority flag settings, and blind carbon copy.
Help function, providing access to detailed online help instructions.
New personalization features, allowing you to customize your email settings including color choice, spell check on send, new folder additions, and automatic email routing.
Power Hint—As always, you can get to your email account from the menu, or you can now click on the email indicator showing the new messages you have.

Along with our exciting solution for healthcare, the Medicity Route 66 Café booth wowed the Las Vegas eHealthcareWorld tradeshow crowd in May. Our retro design took top honors for the most creative booth at the show. Many stopped by to learn about Medicity, and were interested to know what our current members thought of the solution.
