Nancy Ham

Nancy J. Ham
Chief Executive Officer


Nancy Ham is chief executive officer of Medicity, the nation’s leading provider of health information exchange technology solutions for hospitals, physicians and health information exchanges (HIEs). Medicity’s solutions empower hospitals, physicians and HIEs with secure access to and exchange of health information – improving the quality and efficiency of patient care locally, regionally and nationally. Medicity is a subsidiary of Aetna.

Nancy has a proven track record of innovative and high energy leadership in establishing, developing, growing and operating private and public health care information technology companies. She joined Medicity in February 2013. Before joining Medicity, Nancy was president, CEO and a director of MedVentive, a provider of performance analytics for accountable care organizations (ACOs) and payers to manage cost, efficiency and quality.  MedVentive was acquired by McKesson in 2012. Previously, she served as president of Sentillion, Inc., a leading innovator of identity and access management solutions for more than 350,000 caregivers practicing at over 500 hospitals. Prior to Sentillion, she was president of ProxyMed, Inc., the industry's second-largest independent medical claims clearinghouse with connectivity to over 450,000 providers, 30,000 pharmacies, 500 laboratories, and more than 1,500 payers. Before ProxyMed, Nancy was responsible for managing more than $50 million in revenue as general manager of institutional and connectivity service Healtheon/WebMD Corporation. Additionally, she served as senior vice president of Business Development and CFO at ActaMed Corporation. She also spent five years in leveraged finance at GE Capital.

Nancy holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Duke University and a master’s in International Business Studies (MIBS) from the University of South Carolina.

 

Greg LeClaire

Greg LeClaire joined Medicity in September 2012 and currently serves as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. LeClaire possesses extensive senior finance and accounting leadership experience having served as Chief Financial Officer for a blend of startup and NASDAQ traded technology, healthcare and manufacturing companies. He has a successful track record of bringing publicly-traded companies into compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and extensive experience integrating synergistic acquisition opportunities that have become increasingly accretive to business performance.  Greg is also skilled at identifying and building strategic business alliances in addition to using financial analysis to identify and better utilize underperforming resources.

Prior to joining Medicity, Mr. LeClaire served as Chief Financial Officer for two different NASDAQ traded companies: ClearOne Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: CLRO), a communications solutions company and Utah Medical Products, Inc. (NASDAQ: UTMD), a specialty medical device manufacturer where he held a 12-year career serving in a variety of finance and accounting positions before rising to become Chief Financial Officer. Mr. LeClaire also consulted for and served as Chief Financial Officer and VP of Finance & Administration for a variety of early stage/startup companies.

Mr. LeClaire holds a master’s degree in management from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Utah.

David Duntz

Mr. Duntz is an experienced healthcare veteran, responsible for Medicity’s professional services team whose job is the implementation and configuration of Medicity software solutions, customer support, and account management. He joined Medicity with the acquisition of Park City Solutions eSolutions Division where he had been serving in various operational roles until appointed VP Operations. Prior to Park City Solutions, Duntz had been a Senior Project Manager at First Choice Consulting. He began his career at Cerner Corporation.

 

Rebecca Little

Rebecca Little is responsible for leading Medicity’s efforts in the RHIO/HIE market segment including strategy, marketing, business alliances and partnerships. Prior to her current role, Ms. Little held a variety of leadership positions within Park City Solutions which was acquired by Medicity in January 2006. Prior to joining Park City Solutions, Ms. Little was employed by a leading healthcare IT consulting and outsourcing firm. Ms. Little has served in various roles in the healthcare information technology field over over 20 years; experience includes interoperability solutions, data warehousing, enterprise-wide integrated clinical and financial systems, and ancillary applications in laboratory, radiology, and emergency department.

Ms. Little participates on the Northern Virginia RHIO Infrastructure Advisory Board, the NHIN Trial Implementation Leadership and Communication Workgroup, is a HIMSS member, and participated on the eHealth Initiative’s Katrina states advisory panel.

 

Carol Owen

As a healthcare industry veteran, Ms. Owen is a dynamic leader with experience developing and implementing technology products and services for medical practices, hospitals, and laboratories. Prior to joining Medicity, she served as Senior Manager of Product Marketing at Avio Corporation, where she led the design of ambulatory clinical solutions for physician practices. Ms. Owen has served as a patient educator and medical recruiter for FHP. She has held many managerial positions, including manager of physician recruiting for Orlando Healthcare Group, manager of license & technical recruiting and manager of plan enrollment for FHP. She received her bachelor's degree in patient education from the University of Utah.

 

Ashish V. Shah

Chief Technology Officer and Head of Product


Ashish leads an impressive team of experts responsible for market-leading health information exchange products that make healthcare easier, convenient and more connected.  In addition to his operational responsibilities leading Product, Ashish serves as a key advisor to many provider-side executives and government officials responsible for establishing health information exchange (HIE) networks in their respective communities.  Through this work, he is frequently invited to present and to publish on the topic of health information exchanges and their role in quality improvement initiatives, clinically integrated networks and accountable care organizations.  His product strategy, operations and technology experiences have enabled him to bring a pragmatic leadership style to Medicity, their customers and many industry-wide initiatives including Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE), HL7 and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ NwHIN Exchange and Direct Project initiatives.  Prior to joining Medicity, Ashish served as an Enterprise Architect with Diamond Management & Technology Consultants (now PWC Advisory Services) assisting Fortune 500 C-level Executives with the formulation of disruptive business strategies through the use of technology.  Before Diamond, Ashish was in various design and engineering roles with Microsoft, Boeing and Apollo Solutions (now CNet Channel Services).  Mr. Shah holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University and an Executive Certificate in Product Management from Northwestern University.

 

Mark Hanna

With over 18 years experience in Healthcare Technology Mr. Hanna brings tremendous industry knowledge and leadership to Medicity's Business Development Team. Having joined MEDITECH in 1994 he managed acute, ambulatory and home care/telehealth sales responsibilities. In 2000 Mr. Hanna led the transition of MEDITECH's Home Care business to Patient Care Technologies, Inc. where he led the company's business development, sales and marketing teams for eight years and was instrumental in bringing a number of new products and services to market. In 2008 Mr. Hanna joined Novo Innovations, where he led Novo's national sales organization. Today Mr. Hanna manages Medicity's Business Development organization.
