SALT LAKE CITY, UT, and WINCHESTER, MA, April 13, 2006 - In its first announcement since the acquisition of the Park City Solutions’ iServices division, Medicity, Inc., a leading provider of eHealth solutions, with Winchester Hospital, a community hospital with a longstanding tradition of patient care and excellence that includes Magnet Recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, announce the selection of Medicity as Winchester’s web portal infrastructure vendor.

“With the expansion and growth of our vital programs and services, we felt our web site needs to do more to market and promote these initiatives in the communities we serve,” explains Mark Whitney, director of communications and external affairs for Winchester Hospital.

Whitney continues, “Medicity’s solution will give us an infrastructure for developing web content that is attractive, informative, and current. It also positions us with a strategic foundation for audience-specific portals that address the needs of our broader constituency—which includes employees, patients, and physicians—providing a platform for secure information exchange and hospital-sponsored service applications. In the world of large corporate healthcare competitors where patients feel insignificant, we want to create a personalized web experience that emphasizes our community values.”

“Winchester is exactly the kind of hospital we like to work with,” states Brent Dover, Medicity’s senior vice president of sales and marketing. “They are an important leader in their healthcare community and have a forward looking management team,” he emphasizes. “As a MEDITECH customer, Winchester is a great candidate for additional applications that can significantly contribute to the accomplishment of their primary mission—timelier, improved quality care.”

Medicity’s portal platform has been widely recognized as an innovative hospital solution for the creation and management of web content and a secure infrastructure for launching web applications and workflow tools that can support hospital business objectives and significantly improve organizational effectiveness. Recently its clinical portal solution was a leader in the inaugural KLAS study of hospital clinical/physician portals.
