Medicity Names Urry VP of Finance

Medicity Inc., a Salt Lake City-based e-health company, announced last week the appointment of a seasoned finance professional, David L. Urry, as vice president of finance.

With more than 10 years of finance experience and an additional five years as an engineer, Urry formerly held a director position with American Airlines, Inc.

Medicity in an Internet company that provides a secure on-line communications work portal for health care professionals. By empowering physicians and professionals with a patent-pending communication model coupled with Web-based tools, Medicity addresses the industry's need for linking healthcare professionals to provide effective and private information sharing.
